Java Web Developer

8D Technologies is looking for an experienced Java Web developer to fill a permanent position in the server team.
 

Job Description

As a member of the server group, you will have the responsibility to work on the Solstice Management Console, a sophisticated Web application that allows our customers to manage and monitor their on-street systems. You'll be asked to contribute in various fields such as technology exploration, architecture, implementation, automated testing as well as bug fixing.
 

Benefits

The position offered is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week). Compensation will be based on the training, skills and experience of the candidate and includes a group insurance plan.

Technical requirements

• Training in a relevant field (Computer Science / Software)
   
• Solid knowledge and experience with the web, JavaScript libraries (jQuery or others) and CSS3
   
• Solid knowledge and experience in programming, especially in the Java language
   
• Experience with Web services (SOAP, REST) - Asset
   
• Experience with large SQL databases - Asset
 
• Experience with Hibernate - Asset
